During the winter season, the region Liptov and especially valley Žiarska dolina is a paradise for cross-country skiing lovers. Well-maintained cross-country trails are available to all keen cross-country skiers within a radius of 20 km throughout the winter season. The parking is paid. Not far from the parking lot there is also a Medvedia štôlňa (Bear´s Mine Adit). At the end of the valley, you will find the cottage Žiarska chata, where you can refresh yourself or spend the night. It is open daily.

The project is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic.
