The best skiing in Slovakia is in Jasna ski resort. Skiing is available on the northern and southern slopes of Chopok summit on 50-kilometer ski slopes. Most of the slopes are covered with artificial snow. The routes are suitable for demanding as well as recreational skiers, but also for families with children and the beginners. Jasna is Petra´s home ski resort.
The resort entered the 2022/23 ski season with the new 15-seat cable car from Biela púť seat lift station towards Priehyba cable car station, which enables the skiers to get to the summit Chopok even faster and enjoy the views and snow groomed slopes on both sides of Chopok – from the north and the south. A wide range of ski equipment rentals, ski service shops, ski schools, and the restaurant on the slopes are granted. There is also a rich Apreski program – including discos, concerts, dinners at the top of Chopok summit in the panoramic restaurant Rotunda. You can take part in Tatra´s dinner of experiences in the mountain restaurant Habarka combined with a workshop of cooking traditional Slovak meal called gnocchi with traditional sheep cheese as well as riding a ratrak afterwards.
For keen ski lovers is prepared Fresh Track – the track opened even before the official resort’s operation hours. You can enjoy the ride on perfectly prepared slopes and afterwards breakfast at the top in the Rotunda restaurant. In Jasna there are also excellent possibilities for lovers of ski mountaineering, cross-country and freeride skiing.
