Poliak Beekeeping is a small family apiary set in beautiful countryside at the foot of the Western Tatras, where proper forest honey is produced with love and respect for nature. Lucia and Michal have been keeping bees for 12 years. Lucia swapped her career as a flight attendant for the peace of a farm below Kriváň. She always welcomes customers with a kind word and is happy to share her knowledge of the fascinating world of bees with nursery and school children. After graduating from university, Michal spent time on the Alberta prairies. He channelled the experience he gained in Canada into building a family farm where farming is more than a job – it’s a way of life.
