Route description:
The route starts in the parking lot in front of the Vlachy Municipal Office, where you can refresh yourself in the local restaurant. A slightly ascending path leads through the village. Behind the bridge, it is necessary to turn right, where later a steeper ascent leading to the dam wall occurs. On the wall, there is a board with technical information about the Liptovská Mara dam. The route with a green sign leads along the dam. The path will take you to the white church directly at the dam. On the other side of the road is the Havránok Archaeological Open-Air Museum. The route continues along the road to the village Bobrovník, where you will find a restaurant in Hotel Bobrovník. The red route marker will take you to the village part of Tvarožná. From this point, it is possible to return to the white church via the Úložisko hill, but it is necessary to overcome the high climb. It will be more convenient for children to return along the road you took to Tvarožná. Along the way, it is possible to enjoy the Liptovská Mara from a pedal boat or boat.
