The largest ski-testing event in Slovakia, welcoming skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts alike to enjoy themselves.

Hrabovo Valley
Hrabovo Valley – is one of Ružomberok’s most popular spots for a day out. The valley is home to the lower station of the cable car up to Malinô Brdo, and there is plenty to keep visitors busy closer to ground level too: restaurants, cafés, snack bars, accommodation and a whole host of activities centred around the reservoir, from a rope park and zipline to off-road scooters and mountain carts.

What to see in the valley
Skipark Malinô Brdo
With 12 kilometres of downhill ski runs – the longest of which stretches just under 4 kilometres, placing it among the longest in Slovakia – the resort has plenty to offer on the slopes.
Bike family park
Mountain bikers are equally well catered for, with 11 downhill trails at varying levels of difficulty. Off-road scooters and mountain carts are available to hire for those who fancy an adrenalin-fuelled descent.
Hrabovo waterfalls
The waterfall trail is a highlight for visitors of all ages. Winding through scenery reminiscent of Slovakia’s famous gorges, it requires no special kit or fitness level. The most spectacular of the falls has been given a fittingly playful name: the Ice Cream Waterfall.
Minifarm Sidorovo
As you gently stroll through the beautiful Veľká Fatra countryside, you may well come across hares, hens and sheep along the way.
Tarzania
The rope park has something for everyone, with obstacle courses laid out across black, red, blue and children’s routes for adults and young adventurers alike.
Zipline
For the biggest adrenaline hit, two rope parks have been combined into the largest such attraction in Slovakia, stretching 1,110 metres in total. The 300-metre run offers fine views over the reservoir.
Aquazorbing
In the summer, the reservoir offers the chance to walk on water inside an inflatable, transparent aquazorbing ball roughly two metres across.
Fishing
Anglers will find the reservoir equally appealing, with brown trout, rainbow trout, perch, chub, and carp all present – making it a fine spot for a family fishing trip.
The oxygen trail
The oxygen trail is a 1.3 km circuit of the reservoir with six wooden exercise stations dotted along the route, each with clear instructions on correct use.
Hardening
The reservoir itself – 1.8 hectares in extent and between 7 and 10 metres deep, set amid the beautiful surroundings of Hrabovská dolina – has built up a loyal following among cold-water bathing enthusiasts as a genuine challenge for body and mind.
