The attractive exhibition is dedicated to the works of an artist Martin Sabaka, who created unusual sculptures and miniatures from discarded materials found at the waste damps. The main idea of the exposition is creativity awakening, art creation and mutual inspiration. The exhibition includes creative workshops for the visitors, regardless the age. They can enjoy and create their own art works from waste and building materials.
Experience Liptov by bike. Buses equipped with bike racks are great for taking shortcuts and getting to different places in the Liptov region. The cycle bus leaves from Liptovský Mikuláš and continues through Podtureň, Liptovský Hrádok, Vavrišovo, Pribylina, Podbanské to Štrbské Pleso and back.

During the winter season, Liptov offers a free SKI & AQUA BUS service, which connects the main tourist sites and facilitates access to ski and water attractions. This system is designed to increase the comfort of visitors and minimize traffic congestion in mountainous areas.
EVENING CONNECTIONS IN THE 2025/2026 SEASON
- Every Friday during the high season, an evening bus runs from Jasná to the center of Liptovský Mikuláš, so you can experience the winter city in full splendor. In addition, play a game with your children, discover the traces of St. Nicholas and get a gift!
- Every Friday, take the PARTY BUS from Liptovský Mikuláš to the best party at the Happy End club in Jasná! The party bus also runs on selected Saturdays during the winter season, but check the website for Saturday connections.
- During night skiing, there is a ski bus for night skiing to Jasná, a floodlit slope ideal for families with children!
Ski buses connect key destinations such as the ski resorts of Jasná in the Low Tatras and Malinô Brdo with the surrounding area, including the towns of Liptovský Mikuláš, Bešeňová, Liptovský Ján and the water parks Tatralandia and Bešeňová. The service starts during the Christmas holidays and continues until March, when the ski season in Liptov usually ends. The transport is available every 15 minutes from strategic locations such as the train station in Liptovský Mikuláš or the parking lots at the beginning of Demänovská dolina.
The transport is free of charge for visitors with a Liptov Region Card or a valid ski pass. The aim of this system is not only to increase the comfort of skiers, but also to reduce the number of cars in sensitive mountain areas. The use of ski buses relieves traffic, contributing to a better environment and sustainability of the region
