The attractive exhibition is dedicated to the works of an artist Martin Sabaka, who created unusual sculptures and miniatures from discarded materials found at the waste damps. The main idea of the exposition is creativity awakening, art creation and mutual inspiration. The exhibition includes creative workshops for the visitors, regardless the age. They can enjoy and create their own art works from waste and building materials.
Experience Liptov by bike. Buses equipped with bike racks are great for taking shortcuts and getting to different places in the Liptov region. The cycle bus leaves from Liptovský Mikuláš and continues through Podtureň, Liptovský Hrádok, Vavrišovo, Pribylina, Podbanské to Štrbské Pleso and back.
You can buy your ticket directly from the bus driver.
During the winter season, Liptov lays on free transport linking the main visitor hotspots and making it easier to reach ski resorts and water attractions. The system is designed to make travel more comfortable for visitors and reduce traffic in the mountains.

EVENING SERVICES IN SEASON IN THE 2025/2026 SEASON
- When evening skiing is open, a skibus runs to Jasná for night skiing on the floodlit slope, which is ideal for families with children. Night skiing in operation from 28.11.2025!!
- Every Friday during the main season, an evening bus runs from Jasná to the centre of Liptovský Mikuláš, giving you the chance to enjoy the town’s winter charm. Children can play a themed game, follow the trail of St Nicholas, and win a small gift.
- Every Friday, you can hop aboard the PARTY BUS from Liptovský Mikuláš to the best party in Jasná, hosted by the Happy End Club. The Party Bus also runs on selected Saturdays in winter. Check the website for Saturday departures.
The skibuses connect key destinations, including the Jasná ski resort in the Low Tatras and Malinô Brdo, with places such as Liptovský Mikuláš, Bešeňová, Liptovský Ján and the Tatralandia and Bešeňová water parks. Services start over the Christmas holidays and run until March, when the winter season in Liptov usually winds down. Transport is available every 15 minutes from strategic points such as the railway station in Liptovský Mikuláš and the car parks at the entrance to the Demänovská Valley.
Transport is free for visitors with a Liptov Region Card or a valid ski pass. The system aims not only to increase comfort for skiers, but also to reduce the number of cars in sensitive mountain areas. By taking the skibus, you help to ease traffic and support a cleaner, more sustainable environment in the region.
