Iľanovská valley

Iľanovská valley (Iľanovská dolina) is a little visited, but interesting valley. In the lower part it is a wide valley and it narrows to the north. It is 9 km long, located in the Low Tatras and cuts the Triassic limestones and dolomites that make up the surrounding hills. From the west it is bordered by the hills Demänovská hora, Kurence, Magura and Pusté. From the east, Bodová, Končistý vrch, Poludnica, Kúpeľ and Kliny. From the north it is closed by the Kraková hoľa. Tourist routes starting from the villages of Iľanovo and Ploštín, leading to the Poludnica and Krakova hoľa hills, lead through the Iľanov Valley.
