Paddleboarding, also called SUP (stand-up-paddle) is a popular active water sport with which you can enjoy a lot of fun. At Koliba Gréta they offer an Organized Paddleboarding experience on Liptovská Mare under the guidance of a trained instructor (lasting approx. 120 minutes), including refreshments.

Demänová SKI Center, as a part of Demänová Rezort, offers its visitors safe skiing for beginners and advanced skiers on the easy and medium slopes. Well-groomed track also offers night skiing for all ages. For greater safety, a closed ski area with instructors has been built for children.
In Demänová SKI Center you can enjoy unusual running on special inflatable wheels SNOWTUBING and have fun all day. It is driven in a modified snow trough 50m long with steeper starting and gradual roll-off on the opposite slope. Snowtubing fun is suitable for children and adults.Ski center also offers a cross-country track with a length of 550m. The circuit is permanently illuminated, artificially snowed and daily treated with special ratrak.
At Ski School Smile, they focus on all categories of clients, from complete beginners to improving sports skiers and snowboarders. For advanced skiers and snowboarders, we provide lessons in the Snow Park or freeride lessons, under the supervision of our most experienced instructors, who know the terrain well and are ready to show you Jasná even off the slopes.
There are extensive FREE car parks for trouble-free parking and three gastronomic operations of different styles.
Mária trip boat offers sightseeing cruises which are not boring at all. Mária is an only 55-seated catamaran ship in the dam Liptovská Mara. An experienced crew will take care about your comfort during the one-hour cruise leading to an articular church Havránok, dam wall, and back. Enjoy the relaxation and the divine surroundings facing the Tatra Mountains and the Choč´s Mountains. Life-long experiences in a one and only camp on the Liptovská Mara beach! Mara Fun offers motorboats, scooters, wakeboarding and water skis rental. Flyboarding, where a stream of water lifts you above the water surface adds adrenaline, and wake surfing evokes a seaside atmosphere. Try water bikes, kayaks or a stand-up paddle if you want to relax. Friends can compete on aqua zorbing or bumper football. Children can enjoy their time on boats, in the safe pools.

The water slalom resort in Liptovský Mikuláš with four slalom tracks is located on the southern edge of the town next to the Váh river. It is the venue of several important national, international and world competitions in the water slalom.
Its starting point is the feeding canal ending in the start pool with the length of 680 m. Two separate tracks are conducted from this canal. They meet approximately in the middle and continue together back to the Váh river.
The left track, the easier one, is called “Váh” and the right track which is shorter but more demanding is called “Orava”. Although the canal is artificial, its shores covered by stones mildly descent to the riverbed and form the natural setting of the canal.
The area around the canal, covered by grass, with terrace-like platforms, and many little bridges, footpaths and benches offer multiple options of relaxation.
The resort offers you the possibility to rent the water area, and try adrenaline activities, such as rafting, kayaking, hydrospeed, four-wheeler rides, archery, paintball. Furthermore, there is a hire service for water sports equipment and bikes and you can have a snack in a café with a covered terrace. People who wish to try also other activities available in Liptov and its surroundings, such as climbing, paragliding, horse-riding or zorbing, can arrange them in the resort too. Amateurs can also have a go at all these activities, with the assistance of experienced instructors.
The resort is open from April to the end of October. In July and August it is open daily, from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., in other months advanced booking is needed.
