Východná Log Cabin is an iconic example of traditional Slovak folk architecture from the eastern part of Liptov. As the name suggests, it can be found in Východná, a village famed for its international folk festival and home to several cultural and historical landmarks.
Two neighbouring houses are open to visitors: Východná Log Cabin itself, built around 1910, and Východná Stone House, built in 1921. These authentically furnished buildings are now a museum.
They are about 100 metres from the bus stop, on the right side of the main road (18) heading towards the amphitheatre.
