Václav Rubeš Scout Museum

The largest scouting collection in Slovakia

The Scout Museum in Ružomberok is the only scouting museum in Slovakia. It was founded to preserve evidence of scouting activity in Central Europe, and its exhibits trace the development of Slovak scouting alongside the global scouting movement.

Across its extensive exhibition spaces, the museum presents a valuable collection of international scouting documents charting the history of scouting in Slovakia and worldwide. Visitors can explore a wide range of material reflecting activities across different age groups, from badges, decorations, flags, parts of uniforms, and patches to scouting philately, chronicles, photographs, postcards, stamps, prints, and more. The exhibitions also draw attention to the remarkable activities of Czech and Slovak scouts in exile abroad.
