If you wish to take in the scenery, opt for a sightseeing cruise aboard a catamaran or the PEDRO boat. The captain will share the history of how Liptovská Mara was formed and take you to the submerged Church of the Virgin Mary, the dam wall, and the surrounding bays.
A boat rental service and a water sports center are also available. For a leisurely cruise, you can choose from Linder aluminum boats—equipped with outboard motors or oars—or the highly popular electric boats. More active visitors can rent single or double kayaks, paddleboards, or a “JUMBO SUP,” which can accommodate a group of 6 to 8 people.
