Step into a place where horses and livestock are cared for with real dedication, and enjoy a taste of rural Liptov.
The farm keeps cattle for milk production, with part of the high-quality milk processed directly on site into traditional homemade products. These include fresh cheeses, butter, curd cheese, yoghurts, and the much-loved cheese strings.
Horses are also part of daily life here and are used for agrotourism. Visitors can enjoy horse-riding, travelling by carriage, or, in winter, taking a sleigh ride. The farm also offers stabling for privately owned horses in a peaceful rural setting.
At the agricultural farm in Bobrovec, a herd of dairy sheep is kept during the winter months. You will also find agricultural machinery and storage facilities for grain and potatoes, all essential parts of a working farm.
Traditional farming, quality homemade products, and an authentic rural experience come together here. It’s a place to slow down, taste local produce, and enjoy the true atmosphere of a traditional farm.
In the summer months, Gazdovský dvor also includes the nearby Pastierska shepherd’s hut, where traditional shepherding continues in a contemporary form. From April to October, sheep are kept here and cheese products such as fresh cheese, smoked cheese, bryndza, and žinčica are made and sold directly at the hut. Visitors can also watch cheese-making demonstrations, see whip cracking, learn about shepherding traditions, watch hand milking, and browse souvenirs with a shepherding theme.
