A day dedicated to beekeeping, the promotion of honey and honey products, as well as the role of honey in traditional and modern culture, gastronomy and ecology. The event usually includes a competition for the best honey and mead, an art competition in which children can participate, as well as demonstrations of beekeeping equipment, lectures on beekeeping, tastings and creative workshops. Beekeeping Sunday combines traditional knowledge with modern environmental awareness.
