Rafting in Liptov, you can try where Olympic champions train! The water slalom area is ideal for getting to know this water sport. Rafting in Liptov will entertain families with children (from 10-12 years old), but also a group of friends. This water activity is especially suitable for corporate teambuilding.

The Ondrej Cibák water slalom area in Liptovský Mikuláš (AVS) offers adrenaline rafting on an artificially constructed canal, near the city center. Experienced instructors will show you how to really go crazy on this wild water. The water experience is comparable to the Belá River, but without the natural scenery. The more experienced can improve here and the inexperienced can learn. The first rides with an instructor are introductory.

The Váh, the longest river in Slovakia, offers less demanding rafting and is especially suitable for families with children. Discover a peaceful rafting trip in the beautiful Liptov region with views of the High, West and Low Tatras.

Váh Rafting / Bešeňová – Lisková

The rafting trip from Bešeňová is suitable in the summer months, when the upper section of the Váh is not high enough. This route is supplied with water from Liptovská Mara. The rafting trip is suitable for families with children and lasts 60 minutes.

Rafting the Váh / Kráľová lehota – Uhorská ves

The rafting section is from Červený Kút / (Kráľova lehota), which is just a short distance from the place where the Biely and Čierny Váh join, to the small hydroelectric power plant near the village of Uhorská Ves / (Liptovský Ján). The rafting section is approx. 11 km long and passes through beautiful corners of the Liptov nature past the town of Liptovský Hrádok, where the wild Belá river flows in and the flow accelerates slightly. It takes 90 – 100 minutes, depending on the water level.

The agency will provide the rafting completely:

• a guide for each raft
• a helmet
• a vest
• local transport provided

What to bring:

• sports clothing according to the weather
• shoes – “crocs, slippers, flip-flops”

The Belá River is the only navigable river below Kriváň. Rafting on the Tatra River Belá has been possible in recent years only in the months of April – May, when the snow melts in the Tatras… The required water level for rafting is at least 60 cm. (Podbanské). During the season, rafting is possible 7 days a week.

• Route: Podbanské (Kokavský Most) – Pribylina
• Expedition rafting route continues from Pribylina to Dovalov & Liptovský hrádek: up to 4 hours (depending on conditions)
• Meeting time is usually 1:00 p.m. (may change depending on current weather)
• Experienced instructor: in each boat.
• Transportation: Local transport is provided.
