In <\/span>the Archeopark Liptov in Partiz\u00e1nska \u013dup\u010da<\/strong>, this will be the <\/span>5th year of the biggest Slovak early medieval festival Utgard<\/strong>, with 800 performers from 13 countries.<\/p>\n

<\/span>A period camp<\/strong> in an authentic historical setting, craftsmen,<\/span> demonstrations of combat tactics, fighting games<\/strong> and tournaments, lectures by historians and archaeologists,<\/span> concerts of period music groups, fire shows<\/strong> and much more. The highlight of the program will be a <\/span>big battle without a scenario<\/strong>, in which more than <\/span>300 vikings, Slavs and Avars<\/strong> will fight to use functional replicas of period weapons and armaments.<\/p>\n\n
