Go back to times when even a minor offence was punished hard and torturing was a regular procedure of interrogation. Visit the Torture chamber &#8211; exposition in the Museum of Janko Kr\u00e1\u013e and learn how J\u00e1no\u0161\u00edk must have suffered before the final verdict was delivered. J\u00e1no\u0161\u00edk\u00b4s bravery and resistance went down well among the folk and they were remembered through children\u00b4s games, legends, songs, literature, theatre, visual art and films. A minor role in the famous film \u201cJ\u00e1no\u0161\u00edk\u201d was played by the actor Adam Matejka, who used to live in Liptovsk\u00fd Mikul\u00e1\u0161, in Bottova Street. Today, there is a plaque on the house he lived in to remember him.
