Alpine Skiing World Cup in women\u00b4s giant slalom and slalom will be held in the ski resort Jasn\u00e1 N\u00edzke Tatry onMarch 5th \u2013 6th, 2016.<\/strong> The resort will host the most famous personalities of women\u00b4s skiing. <\/span>Slovakia counts on its hottest favourites Veronika Velez Zuzulov\u00e1 and\u00a0Petra Vlhov\u00e1.<\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/h4>\n

HISTORY<\/h4>\n

Jasn\u00e1 is a traditional ski resort, where in the late 70s a\u00a0Swedish legend\u00a0Ingemar Stenmark<\/strong>\u00a0collected points on the slopes.<\/p>\n

The World Cup has been held three times in Jasn\u00e1. Men took part in the Grand Prix of Dem\u00e4novsk\u00e1 caves between 1979 <\/strong>and <\/span>1982<\/strong>, and women competed in<\/span>1984<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Alpine Junior World Ski Championships was the last race which took place at Mt Chopok in February 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There was a\u00a0dream at the beginning of a new era of the resort, that one day in the future the World Cup will return to Jasn\u00e1.\u00a0Today, the future becomes present.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

TRAVELLING BY CAR<\/h3>\n

On March\u00a04\u00a02016 \u2013 March 6\u00a02016\u00a0\u2013 6:00 pm the transportation in Dem\u00e4novsk\u00e1 valley will be coordinated.<\/strong> Entrance to the valley by car is only permitted with a valid parking pass. If you do not have assigned parking pass, please use a shuttle bus. Make sure, you take sufficient time to get to the resort. We recommend two hours.<\/p>\n

The parking places will be filled gradually as follows: After filling the nearest parking place (to the target area) cars will be deviated to another parking places located below \/ further.\u00a0Each parking is also a\u00a0boarding place for Shuttles<\/strong>, i.e. 70 buses, which are prepared to circulate every 3 minutes.<\/p>\n

On arrival by car to the resort,\u00a0please follow the instructions of the organiser and the police.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the event the resort of Jasn\u00e1 N\u00edzke Tatry will be open from both the northern and the southern side. Viewer zones are divided into paid and unpaid. If you missed to purchase a ticket to the finish area, use some of FAN zones or viewer zones on the slope.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finish area:\u00a0<\/strong>The finish area is a\u00a0paid viewer zone (Koliesko). Admission to the zone is regulated and allowed only to visitors who have purchased a\u00a0ticket to the World Cup.<\/p>\n
