<\/span>The Castle and the Manor House in Liptovsky Hradok<\/strong>, situated in the picturesque part of Liptov nad Top\u013eou, is also accessible to the public after a partial reconstruction of the owner. Part of the tour is a walk through the courtyard of the Gothic castle and part of the interior of a Renaissance manor with a guide guide, as well as an audiovisual presentation of the history, reconstruction and part of the premises in the present form. From the 2018 season visitors have a newly opened “castle castle quarters” as well as a staircase tower, which provides beautiful views of Horn\u00fd Liptov and our beautiful dominant of High Tatras – the Krivan Mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The owners of the castle and the manor house are constantly working on the reconstruction of the castle and the castle. You may also be able to meet them during your tour. At the present time there is a planned renovation of both castle towers – a prospect with a royal view of the whole of Liptov and Tatras. The Castle Hr\u00e1dok<\/b> built on a small hill near the river Bel\u00e1 is situated in the town Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok in the north of Slovakia. Though several versions of a story narrating the origin of the castle exist, one thing is certain: the first reference to the castle is from 1341<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The head of the Zvolen county Don\u010d built the castle at the beginning of the 14th century. It was one of the military buildings <\/b>guarding an important trade route along the river V\u00e1h. One of the legends testifies that the castle was connected by underground passages to the fortifications near Liptovsk\u00fd J\u00e1n and even the castle Liptovsk\u00fd hrad.<\/p>\n

Later it became the seat of administration of the castle estate owned by the Kings of Hungary until the mid-15th century. The posterior owners (among them the noble families of Z\u00e1po\u013esk\u00fd, Thurzo, Ballas and others) received it as a gift. The Castle was heavily damaged during the Rebellions of the Estates at the turn of the 17th and 18th century. It is now under reconstruction. The Renaissance manor was added to the Castle structure in the 17th century. After a recent reconstruction it offers a stylish accommodation, food and unconventional conference rooms.<\/p>\n

Access<\/b>: on foot from Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok (it takes 10 min); driving in the direction of Pribylina is possible as far as the Castle.<\/p>\n\n
