The Po\u013eovn\u00edcky waterfall (Hunter\u00b4s waterfall) is a sought-after trip location \u2013 especially in summer. It is popular with hikers, cyclists and families with small children. It is situated under the Bobroveck\u00e1 valley and is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Liptov and a big rock wall, from which it falls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is interesting to mention that the waterfall is known under several names, so you may know it as the Bobroveck\u00fd or Po\u013eovn\u00edcky waterfall.  It falls from the height of 12 metres and is formed by the Star\u00e1 voda creek, which creates two whirlpools at the top of the waterfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The waterfall will leave you spellbound in every season. In winter, however, the sound of falling water dies away and the waterfall changes into a stiff and yet beautiful icefall. The wonderful waterfall surrounding creates atmosphere similar to the one typical of Slovensk\u00fd raj (Slovak paradise).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The easiest way to get to the Po\u013eovn\u00edcky waterfall if from the village of Jalovec <\/span>(app. 4 km), through<\/strong> Bobroveck\u00e1 V\u00e1penica and the saddle of Lipovec. Then, follow the direction signs that will take you directly to the waterfall. There is also a marked bike path running through the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
