<\/span>A large underpass under the railway line<\/strong>, connecting the lower Hr\u00e1dok with the upper, is an important part of our city. During the summer months, its walls turned into a place to <\/span>remind us of our history.<\/strong> Although Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok is not large city in terms of population, it has many beautiful places, historic buildings or monuments that we go around every day, but we do not realize what historical role they play. “At the Department of Culture, the idea was born to revive <\/span>the route of monuments<\/strong> with its various elements through this space, and thus remind people of what our city is about,” said Danica \u017diakov\u00e1 from the Department of Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To depict the past, the city council chose in fact <\/span>an unconventional modern way of artistic<\/strong> expression – graffiti. The graduates of the School of Applied Art in Ru\u017eomberok took care of the decoration of the underpass. “It simply came to my notice then. Overall, it was a good idea, “said the author of the graffiti, Peter Benko. Young artists had to solve several problems that few had in mind from the beginning. “Few people remember the colours of the original buildings, we usually had only black and white photos available,” Peter explained. Moisture and mold that attacked the paint also caused problems. However, there should be a solution to that as well. Sprayers plan to create a protective coating. The pair of artists spent more than 150 colour sprays on the decoration of the large underpass. “The work was demanding, but my personal feeling is definitely good,” said Peter Benko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walls of the large underpass are currently decorated with almost <\/span>50 separate figures<\/strong>, dominated by the historic building of the Salt Office, today’s Ethnographic Museum and Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok Castle, today’s Grand Castle. Even a hurried run to work or home became a short walk through history for Hr\u00e1dok natives and visitors to our town. The fact that citizens like the new decoration of the subway is evidenced by stopping pedestrians, who look at the images with admiration and often even take photos. The town of Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok would like to thank the graduates of the School of Applied Art in Ru\u017eomberok, Peter Benk, and Marek \u010cern\u00fd for realizing the decoration of the underpass. Aj ke\u010f Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok nepatr\u00ed  po\u010dtom obyvate\u013eov medzi ve\u013ek\u00e9 mest\u00e1, m\u00e1 ve\u013ea kr\u00e1snych miest, historick\u00fdch budov, \u010di monumentov, ktor\u00e9 denne obch\u00e1dzame, no neuvedomujeme si, ak\u00fa historick\u00fa \u00falohu zohr\u00e1vaj\u00fa. \u201eNa refer\u00e1te kult\u00fary sa zrodil n\u00e1pad, aby sme prostredn\u00edctvom tohto priestoru o\u017eivili trasu pam\u00e4tihodnost\u00ed<\/strong> s jej r\u00f4znymi prvkami, a tak pripomenuli \u013eu\u010fom, \u010do v\u0161etko na\u0161e mesto m\u00e1,\u201c povedala Danica \u017diakov\u00e1 z refer\u00e1tu kult\u00fary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na stv\u00e1rnenie minulosti si mestsk\u00fd \u00farad vybral v skutku netradi\u010dn\u00fd modern\u00fd sp\u00f4sob<\/strong> v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9ho prejavu \u2013 grafity<\/strong>. O v\u00fdzdobu podchodu sa postarali absolventi \u0160koly \u00fa\u017eitkov\u00e9ho v\u00fdtvarn\u00edctva v Ru\u017eomberku. \u201ePri\u0161lo mi to ako zauj\u00edmav\u00e1 t\u00e9ma. Celkovo to bol dobr\u00fd n\u00e1pad,\u201c zhodnotil v\u00fdzdobu podchodu autor grafity Peter Benko. Mlad\u00ed v\u00fdtvarn\u00edci museli vyrie\u0161i\u0165 nieko\u013eko probl\u00e9mov, s ktor\u00fdmi zo za\u010diatku m\u00e1lokto po\u010d\u00edtal. \u201eFarby p\u00f4vodn\u00fdch budov si len m\u00e1lokto pam\u00e4t\u00e1, my sme mali k dispoz\u00edci\u00ed v\u00e4\u010d\u0161inou len \u010diernobiele fotky,\u201c vysvetlil Peter. Probl\u00e9my sp\u00f4sobovala aj vlhkos\u0165 a plese\u0148, ktor\u00e1 napadla farbu. Aj na to by v\u0161ak malo existova\u0165 rie\u0161enie. Sprejeri pl\u00e1nuj\u00fa vytvori\u0165 ochrann\u00fd n\u00e1ter. Dvojica v\u00fdtvarn\u00edkov na v\u00fdzdobu ve\u013ek\u00e9ho podchodu minula celkom viac ako 150 farebn\u00fdch sprejov. \u201ePr\u00e1ca to bola s\u00edce n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00e1, ale m\u00f4j osobn\u00fd pocit je ur\u010dite dobr\u00fd,\u201c zhodnotil Peter Benko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steny ve\u013ek\u00e9ho podchodu v s\u00fa\u010dasnosti zdob\u00ed takmer 50 samostatn\u00fdch obrazcov,<\/strong> ktor\u00fdm dominuj\u00fa historick\u00e1 budova So\u013en\u00e9ho \u00faradu, dne\u0161n\u00e9ho N\u00e1rodopisn\u00e9ho m\u00fazea a Hradu Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok, dne\u0161n\u00e9ho Grand Castle. Aj upon\u00e1h\u013ean\u00fd beh do pr\u00e1ce, \u010di naopak domov sa tak stal pre Hr\u00e1do\u010danov aj n\u00e1v\u0161tevn\u00edkov n\u00e1\u0161ho meste\u010dka kr\u00e1tkou prech\u00e1dzkou po hist\u00f3ri\u00ed.<\/strong> O tom, \u017ee sa nov\u00e1 v\u00fdzdoba podchodu ob\u010danom p\u00e1\u010di, sved\u010dia zastavuj\u00faci chodci, ktor\u00fd si obrazy s obdivom pozeraj\u00fa a \u010dastokr\u00e1t dokonca fotografuj\u00fa. Mesto Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok<\/a> t\u00fdmto \u010fakuje absolventom \u0160koly \u00fa\u017eitkov\u00e9ho v\u00fdtvarn\u00edctva v Ru\u017eomberku Petrovi Benkovi a Marekovi \u010cern\u00e9mu za zrealizovanie v\u00fdzdoby podchodu.
