Wizzair now flies 4 times a week London Luton – Tatry Poprad. Flight time is only 2 h 20 min. Transfer time 39 minutes to JASNA ski resort www.jasna.sk. In very few resorts you can reach the slopes from London in under 3 hours. Although Poprad is an international airport capable hosting big Boeings or Airbuses, there is not much traffic, so arrival one hour prior to your flight is enough.

3. RELAXATION AT WATER PARKS

What makes a Liptov holiday unique is a special combination of skiing and thermal water fun and relaxation.
You can choose between two large water parks Tatralandia Aquapark and Gino Paradise Besenova or Spa Lucky, with treatments and healing mineral waters. There are not many better ways to recharge your batteries after a hard days skiing by soaking in natural 30C thermal pools.

41 pools, 45 slides and toboggans alongside plenty of saunas and wellness complexes will keep both adults and children happy, especially when entry is included with your lift pass, if you have decided not to ski that day. From 2016/2017, a specialised b for children over 3 years will open in Tatralandia Aquapark, helping strengthen children’s immune systems.

JASNA Low Tatras is the only resort in Central Europe with designated freeride zones (12) and a freeride school. JASNA is also proud to host a qualifying event for the Freeride World Tour.

Slovakian ski packages are by no means ‘bargain basement’ but lift passes are cheaper than most Alpine resorts and meals and drinks in restaurants are about one third of those experienced, typically, in French resorts.

Eating and drinking throughout the region is incredibly reasonable. Enjoy 0.5l Beer in a mountain restarant for €2.5 and grab a big lunch (soup, main meal, drink) up the mountain for €15 Eur per person or half that in some places.
