In Pribylina, under the slopes of the Western Tatras, you will find one of the most beautiful open air museums in Slovakia. The wooden and stone houses in its area come from the area flooded by the dam Liptovská Mara. There are also medieval stone buildings such as early Gothic church and Gothic-Renaissance manor-house. Museum is the most visited exposure of Liptovské Museum.The museum offers programme events, demonstrations of folk and traditional craft techniques, school of folk crafts, folklore groups, church concerts, martial arts, falconry, popular specialties tasting of wine spirits, mead, wine and cheese or wedding ceremonies.
