Tropical Paradise

TROPICAL PARADISE will cover the area of 4, 661 m2 (for comparison, a football field has about 4, 230 m2). Both the interior and exterior of the sea shell-shaped construction will be very attractive and modern. Unique materials are being used for the construction, e.g. the roof cover will be made of a roof foil to allow for complete transparency. (Such transparent roof foil was used for the Olympic swimming pool in Beijing known as the “Water Cube”). Such roof cover will enable visitors to admire the gorgeous scenery of the surrounding hills of the West and Low Tatras while lying on sun beds. Moreover, the roof foil will let through the sun rays thus making it possible to sunbathe at Tatralandia in winter and making you feel as if you were holidaying in some tropical destination.
The entire interior has been designed as a piece of the Caribbean tropical paradise with the average temperature of 30ºC and original tropical flora. The interior will be filled with lots of live palms (of the height of up to 10m). Everyone will be able to find their own hideaway spot for relaxation. Four modern pools with crystal-clear water of tropical temperature of 32ºC will abound in massage and fun attractions. Refreshments will be available from the pool bar where your drinks will be prepared and served straight in the pool. The new restaurant will cater for visitors, offering culinary experiences of national and international specialties.
The youngest visitors will find special attractions which are must be at every tropical paradise. A gigantic wooden pirates’ ship will separate the relaxation and fun zones. The snorkelling pool will be an essential part of the venue, thus offering a view of the submarine world. Sea fish and corals of varied colours will be living their own lives within their own separate pool - and you will be able to watch them from the snorkelling pool.
